Where DMU is manufactured??Can it be coupled with ICF sleeper and ac 3 tier coaches??

two coaches of jammu mail,24033(S1,S2) runs attached with 54072 jalandhar-hoshiarpur dmu from JUC to HSX.
ok so DMU can be coupled with normal ICF then why not they use DMU as an intercity which has 2-3 reversals like Ranchi baidyanathdham express?
upto where I know, there are no toilets in DMU,MEMU'S.
So it creates a problem for the passenger's

these rakes are still running in the north india .
& that also between the main routes like ambala -amritsar passenger has this type of rake .

No idea of DMU but EMU uses CBC coupling only. So CBC coaches and LHB coaches can be coupled with EMU. If the coupling of DMU is CBC then CBC coaches can be coupled, if normal chain coupling then normal chain coupling coach can be coupled. Locos can be coupled to any of these.
