As you all know SWR has only 16.63% of it's route Electrified and much money is alloted for these in the annual budget
Which of the following route should be given most priority and Electrified as QUICKLY as possible

Ballari-Ryadurgam-CTA- JRU can be used for Eloco even if BAW-UBL not get RE like how GTL-BAY section using Eloco at present conditions.about Talguppa-Birur its not much of use until complete BAW-Birur Get RE
Trains can run with electric locos if Ballari - Chikjajur section is electrified and Chikkabanavara - Chikjajur section is not electrified as follows:
🔹57451/57452 - Chikjajur - Guntakal - Chikjajur Passenger: This train can with end to end electric loco (if it is not converted into DEMU)
🔹56909/56910 - KSR Bengaluru - Hosapete - KSR Bengaluru Passenger: Diesel loco from KSR Bengaluru to Chikjajur and electric loco from Chikjajur to Hosapete and vice versa

Piggybacking is not advisable for such a long distance from BAW to JRU as a single WAP-7 weighs approx of 3 ICF third AC coaches and will be more load for a single WDP-4D to haul for 266 kms as this section is full of steep gradients plus Gubbi Kardi section is a single line with numerous TSRs. This was the same reason why Karnataka got back diesel link from SBC to DD as it was like a single WDP-4D pulling 28 coach train as it took hell of a time to accelerate and reach mps. Yes if twin alcos are provided then piggybacking is possible but again the train will be too lengthier.
I said generally what can be done. If piggy backing cannot be done, then 16229/16230 and 82653/82654 will run with diesel loco from SBC/YPR to BSB/JP. That is why I said if BAW - JRU - DVG - UBL section is not electrified then it will not be of much use even if BAY - JRU section is electrified because only BAY and JRU are capable of doing LC in entire BAY - JRU section
