Yes, If they extend this to Has, Smet, Ubl, Cmnr, etc. then chances are there. Already Bluru/Mys stations are overburdened now.
SWR trains run deep into TN and KL like CAPE, Trivandrum, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Calicut, Kannur,
Coimbatore, Erode, Madurai, Tuticorin, Puducherry, Mayiladuthurai, Trichy, Thanjavur, etc. Even a passenger from Bangalore runs upto Karaikal and southern railway does not run even one train to connect Salem to Cuddalore Mayiladuthurai Thiruvarur Karaikal.
How many SR trains operate/ terminate at SWR destination? Practically zero. So, it would be better to run SR trains to SWR area passing through Bangalore.

TN and KL trains extension to Chamaraja Nagar is not required. Shorter bus routes are available. To CMNR, Bidar, Bijapur and Belgaum trains should be extended. The problem would be such trains have to pass through SBC, which will be a bottleneck.
As the requirements is for Kerala to Bangalore trains, there are ways to not to bring them to SBC and YPR. Even now ERS band SF can be extended to Shimoga or Davangere. It arrives at band at such an odd timings that people will not prefer it.

The very fact that not a single Sabarimala special runs from Karnataka, whereas there are so many from TN , AP,Telengana just shows interest or the lack of it from SWR to this route. It is obvious that they will have the best slots, timings etc for their trains.....as you rightly said these are dream slots which may never happen
I partially agree with you. Can you inform how many special trains were run by SR from Kerala to other zones- specifically SCR, SWR and KR - during Sabarimala Christmas season?
