From British era and after 7 decades of Independance with so many development in Tracks and signals, This Mumbai Mail ( Bombay mail) depart MGR Central 23.55 late night ( around 11 pm) and arrived Mumbai CSMT on the Third day early morning around 4 am.
After 7 decades it has been speeded up and avoid the third day running with 2 Over Night Journey.It has so many passenger who loved two night journey in this sector.
Now this Mumbai SF Mail s running time is just less than one day.
Congrats to our Mumbai Rail passenger association, CR, SWR,SCR and SR.
Any how one more ONT express of erstwhile ( Mumbai actual Mail time from British era ) late night departure around 11 pm from Chennai is much needed in this Chennai - Mumbai sector.
