- Mumbai exp.
Day1:
I was really excited for this journey, bcoz this was the 1st time I would be Travelling through this Route .
It would going to be Something New. The Journey date came, I was geared up for this exciting journey, after the final charting It came to my notice that my SL tkt has been upgraded to 3AC with a SLB .
this was for the 1st time that I got upgradation .
Reached Mumbai CST, 1 hr prior to departure. Captured some pics of the station as well as other train .
While observing the Duronto rake , everything was as usual only a single 3A coach was having different type of design and the Next coach was of NW. Rest all were CR based uniform rake.
Before boarding took enough biscuits with me, Bcoz I was unaware of this Route. This was quite beneficial. As in Duronto no catering was there. At sharp 20:15 Ajni WAP 7 leading Duronto Exp started from CSMT Mumbai.
Constant acceleration and slow down was there by WAP 7 , meanwhile train skipped Kalyan from pf#2 with this we o/t Amaravati exp. While Kalyan skip train was accelerating, also it was the 1st time when I Watched the Kalyan skip.
Train reached Kasara, Halted for few minutes. Lights were now off and Night light started in the coach though passenger were not sleeping. Blankets and bedsheets were on the seats itself (CR marked packaging was not there) .
After bankers were attached train started to move towards the further journey.
After Igatpuri departure, I was just awaked to see the Punjab Mail o/t.
Now it was Nasik Road skip with Punjab Mail o/t . We Skipped from pf#1 while Punjab Mail was on pf#2 .
Day2:
In the early morning may be around 6 AM. Just waked up and seen from the window the Nice view of sun rise; train was Running at Constant 105 - 110 speed. It was now before time. Now only less than a hour journey was remaining, Before Nagpur arrival I heard that co passenger were discussing that the train gets terminated at Ajni. But at 06:55 I saw that Duronto skipped Ajni.
So now it was sure that train will go till Its last stop. One common thing I observed that it was 30 mins to reach the destination, still doors & aisle were filled up by passengers with their luggage.
Finally at 07:10 (10 mins. Before) Duronto Exp reached pf#8 of Nagpur station.
Within 5 mins. Got deboarded at Pf#8 while walking there it felt that this pf has been either renovated or newly constructed.
Now I was having almost 3 hrs at Nagpur station. For the onward journey .
In this duration firstly I Went on all the PF to closely observe this station. later camed on pf#1 which is the main pf of the junction .
During observation, noticed that The station is very clean
Than went out & captured the Station building. To spend the time I went on the near by road of the city. At station premises there were many food outlets. I went on pf#2 Haldirams stores and took breakfast and tea. With this only 1 hr was left for departure of Telangana exp. Some how spend that 1 hr by capturing train, which consisted of Sanghamitra exp, Secunderabad - Raipur exp, Gondwana exp, Dehradun - Madurai exp, Jnaneshwari exp and so on.
Telangana exp arrived pf#2 with 15 mins delayed. After another 10 mins. Halt, Lala WAP 7 blowed the horn. And at 10:10 next part of the journey started. Again train was maintaining its speed, skipped many of the station .
I was ready to watch the Sevagram curve. But unfortunately couldn't see it. As it passed away few mins. before only.
At 12:20 we reached Chandrapur stsn. For the 1st time I was in the Eastern Maharashtra. As soon as we departed , Ndls bound Telangana exp was arriving at Chandrapur. Bangalore Rajdhani was Just immediate behind us .
Within 15 mins. at 12:40 TG exp arrived Ballarshah station pf#1 . It was 40 mins. before. Tiger painting were seen on this station , due to wildlife sanctuary. Bangalore Rajdhani o/t TG exp here. Than we departed after a long halt of 45 mins. CR territory ended here. SCR zone and its 120 MPS section started. Lala WAP 7 was constantly Running at 120 .
At the scheduled time TG exp arrived at Sirpur kaghaznagar station. On the parallel pf Kaghaznagar - Secunderabad Superfast exp was standing.
Apart from 120 speed nothing much was there to see on the Route. After taking some other halts, with 15 mins Delay TG reached Kazipet Jn., Kazipet - LTT exp with Kalyan WAP 7 was Ready for its departure. With maintained 15 mins delayed Train deoarted Kazipet Jn. Short distance passenger were boarding & deboarding in sleeper coaches between (Kaghaznagar - Secunderabad). Also I seen that loop track's length were quite long When compared to Rail line of WR. After Kazipet departure very rarely train was touching the 120 speed. On the parallel track Constantly freight train were Moving.
The sun was set now, and we entered the Secunderabad city area. Speed was Having some restriction.
TG exp slowly skipped Charlapalli , Moula Ali station , and at Secunderabad outer it was halted for 10 mins. After making a slow start, train was Arriving Secunderabad station where I seen a BRC WAP 7 standing idle.
At Secunderabad The coach got empty. i.e. only 5 passenger n a coach. After a 15 mins halt, Train started to move towards destination , moving at a moderate speed adjacent to Hussain Sagar lake , Telangana exp skipped the Suburban stations and Finally we reached Hyderabad station at 20:05 on pf#6 with a delay of 30 mins.
While Deboarding, I never thought that I would get to travel in SCR's star Telangana Exp. Bcoz it was completely out of the box journey for me. with this the 2nd part of journey was also completed.
Day3:
After attending a day function here it was now time for the Third & last part of journey. 17032 Hyderabad - Mumbai exp was already on pf#4 reached station just 10 mins Before the departure. Boarded the train. with a 10 mins delay at 20:50 Kalyan Alco started the train. Rake was very well maintained by SCR.
Occupancy was seat to seat.
RPF personnel were constantly moving in the coach, all the shutter & glass sliding were pulled down. This is quite common for train moving via Solapur .
Also Those track sounds were audible when the train was moving on the newly layed track between (Kulali - Boroti). At night 3:30 Train reached Solapur station. Train reached kurduvadi station 15 mins Before ,here Bhubaneswar - Pune exp o/t us .at 5:12 we departed kurduvadi station. After bhigvan departure Sleeper coaches were filled up by Unreserved passenger and some where near Daund we re o/t Bhubaneswar - Pune exp with this we reached Pune by 15 mins delay. After 5 years I was travelling on Pune - Mumbai Route. Many changes were seen. Many station were re developed. Train was stopped on the bhor ghats for break testing. Now we were delayed by 30 mins.
after Karjat departure Alco again gained good speed and skipped many suburban station and reached Kalyan. Delay couldn't be covered anymore. Finally at 13:05 with 35 mins. delay 17032 arrived Dadar pf#6 .and I alighted here and Moved towards Dadar (WR) .
Here the 2195 km journey got ended. Although the journey was fabulous.
