This is the nearest railway station to visit famous Sri Panakala Narasimha Swamy Temple. It is a 5 minutes walk to reach Mangalagiri Main Road where local autos are available to go the Hill(Main Temple on the Hill) & Main bus station is on the way of Main Road just 3 minutes from railway station.
Two Temples are located, 1 is at down & another is at up (main temple). First prefer to visit down temple because after 1pm they close the temple and reopens at 4.30/5.00 pm. Up temple closes only at evening & night times.

up temple you can see a best top view of whole mangalagiri town which includes a newly constructing stadium, railway station(you can see 4 PF's of RS) on the left hand side in the queue.

Note: Local autos are charged for both up & down. Fare is 30-50/- per 1 person on festival seasons and sundays. On normal days depending upon the passengers they charged.
Best to prefer local share autos/buses(bus no:49V) to go to Vijayawada or Vijayawada Railway Station because of low local train services after darshan.
