Metro routes that are expected to be operational by 2020 also have been included.
A portion of all the new metro line in Kolkata that are under construction were scheduled or were expected to be completed by 2020 end or early 2021. But the construction work of these lines were stopped for several months due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and hence further delay is expected before the inauguration of these sections. 1 - Extension to Dakshineshwar was supposed to be completed by mid 2020
Line 2 - Already CRS till Phoolbagan have been recieved
Line 3 - Official told last year that the section from Joka to Taratala will be completed by 2020 end, although the depot work at Joka hasn't started yet, so ideally it wasn't possible to start this route even in 2021
Line 4 - Noapara to Airport was supposed to be completed by the end of this year
Line 6 - 80% work of the New Garia depot has been completed. The section from New Garia to Ruby was supposed to be completed in 2020
