Differences between IRCTC Private Trains and PPP Model runned Private trains:

1. In IRCTC Private trains- The rake is manufactured and maintained by IR.

IN Private trains under new scheme- Private players
...
will Finance, Procure and Maintain the Rakes.

2. In IRCTC Private trains- Rakes are the same kind that runs in IR say Tejas, Humsafar, etc.

In Private trains under new scheme- Rake will be more modern type with more amenities.

3. In IRCTC private trains- Maximum permissible speed till now of the rake is 130 kmph

In Private trains- Maximum permissible speed will be 130- 160 kmph.

4. Separate private players employees will do rake maintenance

5. Rake will not require maintenance before 31 days or 40, 000kms travel distance from last maintenance whichever is later.

6. IR can provide space in its CDO or a space nearby for private players to set up Coaching depot by them.

7. IR will provide stabling lines for parking the rakes.

So, Fares of IRCTC private trains and this new PPP Scheme Private trains will not be same....

Correct me if I am wrong also add other difference if u know.

If these new private trains would be maintained by them only then they would have to be provided with pitlines too I guess. Or would the same pitlines would be used by different staff?
