NCR - maar bhi, raftaar bhi - Harshit Sharma

This station is nearest major railhead to visit Jatayu Nature park or Jatayu Rock situated 27 km away from here at chadayamangalam in the same district I.e. kollam.
It has the world's largest bird sculpture at an altitude of 350m above msl, based on mythological bird Jatayu from Ramayana and is said that the fight between Raavana and Jatayu occurred here and it's injured body felt here.
