After arriving Salem around 04:50 am , the train can leave SA at 05:00 am to arrive Omalur Junction around 05:10 am and Dharmapuri around 06:10 am and to arrive Hosur around 08:00 am . This will provide direct connectivity to Chennai from Hosur . Return it can start Hosur around 18:50 pm , Dharmapuri around 20:10 pm and to arrive omalur at 21:10 pm and salem at 21:15 pm and can leave further towards egmore. Opinions please railfans??

It can definitely be extended for the scope of increased passenger traffic and public convenience after making it a 24 coacher ICF/22 coacher LHB.
I have another idea .Salem to Mumbai via dharmpuri,SBC ,SUR, Pune . And reverse direction Mumbai SBC ,SA,after that to mas . from mas to Mumbai .This way train can go on circular Journey will be good alternate to CBE - LTT because it is always late when coming. SA
regarding permission SWR s always flexible. SR is the one who dont give permission easily
Who will take Circuitous route of via Vriddhachalam to go to Hosur ?
People from CGL, TBM, VILLUPURAM, VRIDACHALAM might take and those who prefer overnight journey
