So here is the ECOR Top 20 revenue generating trains for year 2019 (Jan-Dec). One sheet shows the list based on occupancy whereas the other PDF (excel converted PDF) arranges the same data on basis of revenues. No surprises here !!!
• Purushottam, Konark & Utkal occupy the top 3 slots for highest revenues
• For ECR the highest revenue generating train is Purushottam Exp. For SR highest rev generating train is Kerala exp & the irony is that NR has actually proposed wanting to have a rake sharing of these two trains !!!! ...

Kindly sort them in order of revenue per trip. The second pdf of sorting trains based merely on revenue is misleading. Actually you can’t compare a bi-weekly tri weekly train with daily one for only revenue. Actual units should be revenue/trip.
Revenue per Rake in Crore. Revenue per trip will keep long journey train at higher revenue side.

Then may be revenue per 100km ? that would be enough? This would cover weekly/bi/tri weeklies too. (Or may be rationalised for 1000km too)
Revenue Kms give wrong data. Low utilized Rake will run less to yield high Km revenue. Rake run = Total Revenue/Total Rake (RSA/Weekly total rake & Revenue projection of RSA Rake). Weekly 22974, Each Rake a Week in Km run is 4872 & for Puru, its 5680!! For same or slightly lower Revenue, 22974 may still give higher Revenue Km!!
Puri Ajmer/Okha RSA were in Revenue List. Non Listed RSA Revenue projected by same train type with approx same Kilometer run. For PURI-LTT/BBS-ANVT & its RSA, revenue of PURI-LTT & BBS-ANVT has been projected on RSA Rake. 7/2 times revenue of PURI-LTT/BBS ANVT has been divided by Total RSA Rake count!!
Puri Ajmer/Okha RSA were in Revenue List. Non Listed RSA Revenue projected by same train type with approx same Kilometer run. For PURI-LTT/BBS-ANVT & its RSA, revenue of PURI-LTT & BBS-ANVT has been projected on RSA Rake. 7/2 times revenue of PURI-LTT/BBS ANVT has been divided by Total RSA Rake count!!
