In Feb 2019, my Friend Anirudh & I went on a trip; a part of which was this Journey from Mangaluru to Mumbai by the 12134 Mangaluru - Mumbai CSMT SF Express. Initially this train wasn't there in the plan at all. But after many changes; we finally decided that we had to reach Mumbai early in the morning to explore some local train routes that we hadn't seen till then. Two of them were - Mumbai CSMT Panvel & Panvel Thane routes. It all began well enough, as against the late departures of all the days preceding this journey, our train left Mangaluru on time and in spite of delays at intermediate stations; we managed to reach Panvel on time.
