Hitech City station platform extension to 24 coaches was approved & works started in last year itself. Renovation of Hitech City station building is taken up recently. In future, there are chances to provide stoppage at Hitech City for long distance trains.
Even a passby stop at Hitec City will help a lot of passengers. People living near Kukatpally, Malaysian Township, Nizampet, Pragathi Nagar, Madhapur, Kondapur etc depends a lot on Hitech City. Hence trains to LPI with stops at hi-tech city will put a substantial load off the roads.
Hi-tech City also has big parking space where some RTC buses can be parked and originated. Hence it can be a superhit station if long distance trains are halted for 2-3 mins.
Only concern here is that it has 2 pf's with no loop...

2 mins stop during early morning and late evenings will not effect MMTS operations. Moreover the acceleration and deceleration of train is easy then changing to loop and then picking up speed.
I have mentioned stoppage at Hitech City for 2 mins like BMT and terminate at LPI.
Yes stop at Hitech city is highly sought. SCR has plans for that, that is the reason they are extending platforms. Originally long back SCR asked govt to allot land to turn it into terminal but state govt. turned it down. Hope, once the platforms lengths are increased SCR would provide halts for the long distance trains.
