I used to think to he might be shifted to other ministry because of his active involvement in improving SWR, but sadly something unthinkable happened. I don't think we will get another leader with same vision as his to develop state of railways in Karnataka.
I doubt Karnataka getting MoSR post again, because the

Earlier when it was given people have not utilised it to best of their abilities. Let's hope that way RM is bringing rapid changes in IR, will be beneficial to Karnataka too.
High chances of someone from West Bengal will get MOSR post. If not then from Assam, kerala.
