I visited Kharagpur yesterday. I had gone towards Kharagpur CDO, all conventional passenger trains coaches of Kharagpur are taken away for COVID-19 isolation coaches. Only ICF Sleeper coaches, few ICF AC Coaches ICF Parcel vans and coaches of Bankura-Masagram DEMU few coaches are kept in Kharagpur CDO. Coaches of KGP-TATA Pgr, KGP-HTE Pgr, KGP-KHURDA RD Pgr trains are taken away for Isolation coach conversion.

Bankura - Masagram route may be used for south India - NFR based train to bypass Howrah
But till now this route is not connected to Howrah-Barddhaman chord route, how will South India-NFR based trains will run?
Which are the South India-NFR based trains that can run via this route?
Some west based train (Mumbai/ Pune) + south based ( Bangalore /trivandrum Central ) train can reach via Bankura Masagram then from Masagram can reach BWN for NFR route . Thus they can bypass Allahabad division ( Mumbai Pune Ahemdabad Based like GHY Dwarka Express / LTT GHY Express )
