At Godavari station, length of Platform Number 1 is 460 meters, which can accommodate only 20-21 ICF coaches.

But trains with higher coach composition (Bokaro - 24 coaches, Simhadri - 23 coaches) are also provided with stoppage at Godavari station.

Number-2 of Godavari station is of 330 meters length, which can accommodate only 14-15 ICF coaches.

Subject to requirement, length of Platform Number-2 can suitably be extended (with few yard modifications, if required), to accommodate trains with higher coach composition.
