Dehri ek town hai Rohtas district me jo Son nadi ke kinare basa hai .
Issiliye iska naam Dehri-on-sone pada.

Dehri ka matalab hota hai thikana ya temporary home. So dehri-on-sone ka matalab hai sone nadi ya river ke kenare/bank per temporary home. It's an old name given by Britishers. This city was famous when dalimiya factory situated here.
