DFC is going to be the most important part of Indian Railways in coming years.
Railways have started giving more importance to Freight trains operations, in lieu of that, FOIS (Freight Operations Information System) click here
Has been set up, where Freight enquiry facility is also available.
All these freights will operate on DFC soon.

Freights will be equally important as Passenger trains.
Time Tabled Freight trains will also run in future.
Visitors can view the DFC map here and we may provide some more info regarding DFC (such as No. Of DFC stations available on particular section, total length of that section, etc)
Also, DFC can be categorized into two divisions.
1. EDFC (Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor)
2. WDFC (Western Dedicated Freight Corridor)
Curently, two sections of DFC has started operating.
1. Rewari - Madar
2. New Khurja - New Bhaupur

As per suggestions, a new Track type & color scheme will be introduced to map DFC tracks in the Atlas.

These tracks will be seen separately through a toggle button, and won't be used for TT calculations.
