Railway Stations Temporarily Closed: Indian Railways has taken a crucial decision. South Central Railway has announced the temporary closure of 31 railway stations due to lack of revenue. South Central Railway officials said the measures were being taken due to lack of revenue and congestion within the respective stations. 29 stations will be closed from February 1. Another 2 railway stations will be closed from April 1, officials said on Friday.
However, all these stations are located in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The only station is in the Nanded range of Maharashtra. According to the division, the railway department has decided to close 16 stations in Secunderabad, 3 in Guntakal, 1 in Nanded, 4 in Guntur and 7
in Hyderabad. The announcement of the sudden closure of 31 stations has become a topic of discussion in both the Telugu states.
