more... in Satna where we used to board for Madras. We had hard time getting people to move from our seat. 2-3 years back this train was in news for wrong reasons - robbery. People complained they were robbed just as train was leaving Manikpur stn.
4) West coast express few times. Good alternative to kovai exp.
5) Kovai exp few times.
6) Vaigai exp one or two times.
7) Yercaud exp one or two times. Though it is named after a hill station in Salem it serves areas till Erode.
8) Rockfort exp in 1979.
9) Cholan exp once in 1990s.
10) Number of local trains when in north in 1980-82 of whose names I do not remember.
11) Sapthagiri in 2003.

2) Pandian exp. Named after the great Pandiyan dynasty. This train is senior to Vaigai exp and is also popular since the year it was inaugurated. This train is running since Oct 1, 1969 !!!
