SBCCSMTSFneeded~ 220 blog postsI have a question. VSKP is such an important railway station. Also, every train that touches VSKP has to go through a reversal. Why was it built this way? Even if it was built originally like this, why was a new loop never built to avoid reversal? Or a satellite station could've been built on the main line to avoid reversal. It could've saved a lot of time. Tried but couldn't find any related info.

PPP mode in BOT basis for 40Yrs agreement signed with Govt of AP in June 2020. 100 acres of land acquisition is left for approach road construction which is also acquired 3 months back. It will take 30-36months to complete. By April 2024-25 it will be operational.

2200 acres is given to GMR for development of airport. It's not clear whether they will have enough of land for aero Park apart from cargo terminal and accommodation of parallel runway. Another 500 acres is retained by the govt for commercial development, which is part of airport development alloted in 2018-19.They need to allot 250-300 acres for aero space industry and rest for others. As this land is not alloted to GMR the UDF per traveller may be high.

It all depends on the vision of the govt and hold the land parcel till 2025-30 when the aerospace park in Hyderabad gets fullybooked. If they look to monetise the asset before 2025 then aero industry looks bloom. The aviation market will reach precovid traveller volumes in 2023-24 and the industry manufacturing demand will pickup later.
