For the list he has asked for diversion, It is so easy for him to simply place demand without probably checking . Trains like KCVL-Mysore, NDLS-TVC Kerala express, mostly ends up getting filled in KL itself. Sometimes these are the reasons why RB never bothers to even consider these demands when MP's send letters.
It is better SR Salem division start new trains from Coimbatore to various destinations like Bangalore, Delhi, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, etc., instead of depending on Kerala originating trains.
If you analyse carefully, no good train to these places. To avoid, what is done is whichever train available at nearby points are dragged towards Erode, Coimbatore. When Salem Karur line was not there, MV MYS, TN MYS, DR NCJ, CSTM NCJ etc used to go via Erode. Now, shorter route available, but not used. Even when shorter route is selected, TT is not changed/ stoppage not given to places in shorter route, leading to such trains blocking platforms and lines elsewhere.

Rightly said. When Salem division was formed somewhere around 2007, which was exerted using political influence, many thought that CBE would end up having more pit lines, new trains as you mentioned. Nothing has changed in all these years and not much benefit has happened with the new division as such. CBE doesnt have infra to add more trains it seems. No wonder train like 11013 LTT-CBE which can easily reach CBE around 5/5:30am is received late since other PF are engaged with few other terminating trains.
I love this proposal ❤️, at least they're trying to list out alternatives in order to justify their demands.
Unlike other Politicians of India with "take all, leave nothing for anyone" policy.
Logic may be missing in terms of considering occupancy and seat distribution especially for Kerala based trains but intension is truly solid.
