Just to encash COVID revenue loss. Godavari also recently SCR replaced one sleeper with 3A. Don't know what IR is planning in future. They are trying to show some upgrade and increase the fare. I'm sure even the new Mumbai Raj as they converted to Tejas rake IR will increase fare soon.

Itbis already notified that Tejas rakes Rajdhani will have fare 5% more then the regular Rajdhani. 3AC fares are no profit nor gain in other words the fares are equal to that of operational expenses while SL fares still ate priced 40% lower the real costs. So IR s replacing SL with 3AC and at the same time due to increasing middle Class people income levels and their comfort levels.
