how come indore is here and khandwa, ratlam, nagda are missing.

If u are talking about passanger traffic without any doubt it's Itarsi but if u are talking about traffic including goods train too, it's Katni, new katni, mudwara boleto Apna Katni.
Itarsi ka combined traffic Katni se bhi zyada hai.
