* It was reported earlier that BPL shat has been slowed down from 150kmph to 130kmph on NDLS-AGC section. It is taking 8:07 and 8:39 hrs for too & fro journey reaching NDLS at uncomfortable 23:55 hrs.
* Before degradation, original shatabdi had top speed of 140kmph and had only 3 stops against current 7 for just 700kms journey.
* Allotment of VB rake is a must for BPL shat to ensure its return to NDLS before 22:30 hrs. Alternatively current rake may be operated in push-pull mode with 2 e locos.

Yes You are right that returning time at New Delhi is very odd. Bhopal Shatabdi should reach by 10-10.30. The route has many historical places that's why stoppages has been increased as operational profit is also must but yes speed should have increased.
