Do you name train based on its Number or which lay over rake is utilized?
It's not about Rake but the train number whose original belongs to MHSK...and past Covid it will get that MHSK number!!
When IR plans to utilize lay over rake to create a new construct..do you treat rake as per lay over number or the number which belongs to rake on that particular run??

IMO trains should be named on the basis of rake composition and the concept only and not on the basis of train number. IR itself is least bothered about train numbering pattern and multiple exceptions already exist.
Sk concept was introduced in 2005 for providing the common people of all states, fast Delhi connectivity with less no. of stoppages outside the home state. AC pax already had Rajdhani/AC SF option available for them. So its main focus was GS and sleeper class passengers who till then were dependent up on SF trains of those routes.

Train number is train's identity & Rake is Coach Composition (AC/Non AC etc)
Concept: DRNTO no intermediate stop to commercialised technical Stop. SK no Commercial stop past Home State to every technical halt commercialization!! YUVA CC to 3A addition!!
MHSK connectivity concept pre-covid is intact along with original number!! AC suffixed to demonstrate Rake!! When MHSK get back to its usual Rake component, AC suffix will be null!!
