Yup just fees kms away from VSG KR has LHBfied passenger trains the first in IR without any PR and MAO is 💯 LHB base now. SWR did a huge PR for the old demu rake to VSG. Lol.

Is the decision on time in this route also dependent on the MAO-Londa section? There might be certain time when freight might be in operation hence TT change may not be that simple. But definitel train deserves speed up. Lots of sections from Londa onwards towards Pune are now doubled, hopefully they should look at reduced travel time

Can't confirm this 💯 but heard from a fellow RF from Goa that there was a plan to speed this train up. 12780 was to dep. NZM around 18.00 however it was not materialized as SWR had no plans to give it LHB rakes.
I strongly believe that the Goa portion of SWR must be given to Konkan Railways. KRs MAO is now a 💯 LHB base wheras at VSG it's 💯 ICF total opposite. Even SER HWH VSG and SCR HYB/TPTY VSG are ICF only bcoz SWR is not allowing SCRs proposal for dedicated HYB/SC VSG train. SWR has totally screwed up VSG.

I think it's high time the portion from Kulem to Madgaon to Vasco is given to KRCL ...
SWR uses VSG only for port revenues but denies VSG it's proper share
