Though amravati is not much big city as compared to Pune Nasik Nagpur Aurangabad in Maharashtra still three station had been developed just because of previous prsidnt of india.Nearby station so called MODEL STATION "AKOLA" jn. has only one station eventhough several train passes through this Akola station to almost every part of the country covering many major cities. Akola is connected to all 4 metros and now will be connected to all semi metros also very shortly including INDORE ,SECUNDRABAD, BANGALORE, JAIPUR, AMRITSAR, TIRUPATI,RAJKOT etc..
Good ones - Surprised to see just the one PF for this new station
that too very small in actual and near baout 15 kms from city.So for only two weekly trains at present this station had been built.
when there was no place in the city to develop new station then why waste money of the people?
