It is a passenger cum Express
I travelled in this recently (7th November)
It is very much punctual

Bro I guess this train could be speedup upto 40 minutes to justify Express Tag.
According to railways, any Passenger/MEMU/DEMU covering more than 200 kms will be converted to Exp. Although this decision is bad, this has to be accepted. And regarding speedup, uptil Muri no speedup is possible. Already it runs on a tight schedule (observed by me) and after Muri, there is a twin single line ghat section which again restricts speed.
