Now that the route has been electrified, and many parts doubled, shouldn't the travel time for this train be slashed from the present 24 hours to 18 hours?

I didn't put the 18 hr comment. That was by the original author. Mine was the 2nd comment where I only said it should be given SF status. Even I think 20-21 hrs is more realistic and 18 hrs is not possible.
24 hours is pathetic, with av speed only 48 kmph. It does deserve a lot of improvement, considering that this is supposed to be the main train between the two major cities
First if he says something wrong , learn to address that respectfully. He is giving out his opinion. Why are you telling him to do homework. If you are not interested , don't comment .
Hello mahesh sir, its possible only if they eliminate stops like Mumbai mail and they can increase speed or its highly likely that it could be speeded up more.
Hello Sir ths blog is about 2 months back and we don't have any fight between ourselves and he clarified me and is over. So you need not poke it. Yes I am intrested in Udyan express speeding up gone through the timings of other trains in that section and had replied.
