Finally after so much flip-flops, so much political drama and under persistent pressure from the citizens of Aurangabad and MOS Finance Dr. Bhagwat Karad, RB at last sanctioned the pitline at Aurangabad station. Total 29 Cr 94 lakh 26 Thousands will be spent on construction, repair and upgradation to CAMTECH technology of old 16 coach pitline in Aurangabad station yard. though initially it will be of 16 coach, eventually it will be extended for 24-26 coach maintenance. Citizens of Aurangabad have expressed happiness over this decision as their long pending demand has been heard. With this pitline new direct trains can be started from Aurangabad in future without any hurdle.
