First let footfall increase fromnew stn after 1 year can be looked
KJM metro expected to start Dec 22, i a, expecting just before elections of KA. May be next March possible
As of now looks like only the non-daily trains are being shifted. A Tri weekly & bi-weekly from Kerala and few weekly/bi-weekly from East. Eventually I think all East/North East bound trains will be shifted there. KJM will end up being the preferred option purely from convenience point of view. The new terminal is well constructed but connectivity is very poor. I have visited the terminal.Getting cabs is a challenge. There was a BMTC bus parked outside. On speaking to the conductor he said, that buses run virtually empty. One reason is also that currently there are just few trains terminating there and couple of them have an odd time of 3:45am arrival !!
