After login, go to profile page and update profile and after re-entering email may prompt for email verification. Delay in otp receival is occasional and based on network delay. Just tried email verification myself 10 minutes back
If aadhar not linked then 6 else if adhaar linked and Adhaar verified person is traveling then 12

Wo link maine bhi dekha tha but jab irctc ka official page check kiya to 6 hi dikha. So confusion ki sthiti mein ये post kiya. 12 to 24 का increase kis date se implementation mein aaya hai ya aayega wo date nahi mili.
