badrinarayanand 275 blog postsYesterday, 22157 MS Mail arrived at MS almost 2 hours late, and I guess it was due to Bohr Ghat effect.. The ripple effect was felt on MS SA Express, and it departed at 1 AM Today. Already I suspect there is zero cleaning in this rake at Chennai.
Is it not high time that they break the RSA between these two trains ?
If stabling of Mail is an issue in MS, then they could extend it to TBM or CGL.

100% agree bro, Mail and Salem Express do need their RSAs broken, Salem can run independently maintained by SR which currently belongs to CR due to RSA, and Mail should have it's RSA returned to 22159 Express as it was before, and in this way even Amritsar Express also can run independently without the delay of 22159 affecting it
Yes i agree with you CR running train for Salem looks bizarre. SR should run a full fledged train from Egmore to Salem or even Coimbatore. Many from Coimbatore, erode, Salem travel in buses to Chennai which mostly passes through Villupuram. Hence railway should take steps to use this and run a train as I mentioned above. For those who are not familiar with geography of tamil nadu buses to Coimbatore are operated in two routes one via Vellore, dharmapuri, mettur and the another via Villupuram, kallakurichi, Salem. More buses ply in this route.
SR should not touch this train with respect to timings and add a new triweekly from Coimbatore to tamabaram via Salem VPM. Yes travelers travel to Tambaram from Coimbatore by busses.
RSA can be changed for this train..
soon TVC-MDU amrita express will extend it to RMM, once it happend the current RSA between MS-RMM (boat mail) and (MS-TJ) Uzhavan will removed.
