It was 9.50 am, almost time for 10104 Mumbai Bound Mandovi Express to arrive. The cyclonic and bad weather formation over Bay of Bengal had its effects at Goa to. Awoke with a drizzle of rain and till around noon, the skies were cloudy and mist formation just added to the scenic beauty of the Station.

am was the arrival time of Mandovi Express. With a bit more exerction to my neck, I could see the WDP hauled Mandovi Express patiently waiting behind the RO RO for its turn.

At around 10.15 am, twin WDP hailed BCNA rake screeched to a halt in PF 2. Slowly the RO RO started moving as it was given a right of way while the Mandovi crept into PF 1. It was another 20 minutes before the signal turned green for Mandovi, allowing a significant distance between the RO RO and Mandovi.

It will however be pertinent to state that in Mumbai suburban, the signal clearance between two trains is less than 2 minutes and thats the difference between a single line and double line.
