I strongly recommend you to get down at hosur.train reaches carmelaram only at 5.45.where as this train reaches hosur at 5.10 AM.Once you get down at camelaram you wont get direct bus to electronic city.you have to get down at silk board then catch another bus to electronic city.I think first option suits to better if you are staying at electronic citi. I have taken this option multiple times and it worked fine with me.

There is one shortcut to electronic city from Sarjapur Rd. to Electronic city via Hosa rd. but I am not sure about the availability of buses for this route at early morning time

Buses not available between Carmelram and Electronic city. It is better to get down at Hosur and reach Electronic city. You can either take Bangalore bound mofussil buses from Hosur bus stand(Red swaraj mazdas of KSRTC which stop everywhere-Even long distance TNSTC buses have a stop at E.City) or Hosur-Attibelle(Attipalli in Tamil) Town buses and 360 from there to Electronic city.
