Hi . Allow a commercial stoppage at Podanur for this train. Or make this train via Coimbatore Jn (CBE).

Sir, although it is understood that people from around Coimbatore/Podanur will know best about that region, others still try to answer to the best of their capabilities. If Manoj is wrong, you may politely say so, and he will desist from his replies regarding Coimbatore. All we ask is that please do not use hurtful phrases like "unwanted replies", etc. Hope you understand. Thanks.

Yes, Mr.Shanavas you said rightly. We can expect more trains via Coimbatore Jn. towards Palghat, now running direct to Podhanur from Irugur. Once again the work started near Peelamedu in the second line, after the completion of second line work between Irugur and Coimbatore North.

Yes I am from Rajasthan but I have lived in Manipal are for more than 2 years.
Maybe I dont know a lot but by looking at the latest IR Map, I can see that if a train goes to Coimbatore(CBE) from Podanur which is just 6Kms, it has to come back to the main line.
I dont know that but there might be a provision of a sharp turn to let the train get back in the main route, without changing the direction of the engine, but still it will

involve a lot of time.
So I was advocating a stop at Podanur, instead of travelling upto CBE.
Mr. shanavas adviced it to travel to Coimbatore North, but then how will the train come back to its main route without reversing.
Please see this latest route map of the IR

Yes This train should stop at podanur and thiruppur as this is the only train which runs daily apart from trains coming and going from chennai and mangalore. So this train should have a stop in podanur and thiruppur.
