i do not see my name in members, and suppose if i have to bok 9 tickets with serial in irctc.com, then how can i get these (all 9 passengers should be in a row)
You can book maximum six passengers per PNR. Allocation of berths in one row is not guaranteed. You may even get berth in another coach.
I was also having same requirement. eventhough there were 300 seats available i booked ticket for 8 pessengers(6+2), 6 got birth in S2 and remaining 2 in s12. Its very random.
i have a suggestion = if there are more than 6 passengers of a family travelling in a group , try to split them family=wise (if there are more than one family) - atleast family will be joined. age wise/relationship wise. once they are bookd in this fashion, they can exchange their seats or travel together during journey.
