Instead of demanding extentions from Chennai which are running from years and getting WL why are your associations not demanding to club Tirukkal and TN SK to run daily from Nagercoil, TPJ and Kanyakunari Howrah club and run daily from NGL, Chennai central NGL via Katpadi to triwerkly and 4 days a week to Tambaram with PM at NGL.
Even that's the same case with the dragging of Hyderabad trains till Nagarcoil. Instead of demanding charminar and Hyderabad Chennai SF exp they can re-route the NCJ KCG NCJ, KCG MDU KCG and can make it as single daily train.
But instead of demanding this extension. They can demand a new route from CAPE - ASR, by-passing MAS. Also, MAS don't have a direct connectivity to ASR, this is a long term pending demand from passengers.
Also, people travel to ASR, by taking VB/SHATABDI from NDLS. If IR approved this direct connectivity, then they might lose the revenue from these passengers coming from South.

Yes. From NZM to ASR, makes sense and with extra rakes, bi-weekly also possible. Even SR can extend their Duronto express till ASR or JAT/SVDK, by having spare rakes.
