I personally travelled on the Duronto which was supposed to depart from NDLS on 24th Dec. First it was rescheduled to 2.15AM but later got rescheduled to 5.00AM on 25th December. The Station Master of NDLS said there were some technical difficulties, hence the inordinate delay.
True enough, the Loco in charge was not the usual GZB/HWH WAP-7. Instead, the loco-in-charge was a HWH WAP-4 22409.
The train finally reached SDAH on 26th Dec at around 7AM, delayed by about 18hrs 30 mins.

i was on board 12301 which left kolkata on 24th ,, we crossed ur train near tundla dat day ,, around noon , i guess ,, even 12302 and 12314 were very late dat day ,, they were only about 1.5 hrs ahead of the duronto in same condition
