I am a senior citizen based in chennai and I booked my ticket from Bangalore city junction to chennai by 6221 cauvery express leaving Bangalore at 23-45 hrs on 4-8-10 vide pnr no.4419967920, in coach No.S 12/0065/LB.
I reached Bangalore city junction around 22-45 hrs and the train from Mysore arrived 15 minutes late past midnight today morning.
was horrified to find only upto coach No.S11. Some one directed me to go to the other end for coach No.S12. Not being able to find my coach, I

again approached some railway official, who said that coaches from No.S12 to S14 or so would be attached shortly, and he directed me to again go to the other end and wait for my coach.
With my luggage, I had to again rush to the other end and you can imagine my agony at this old age to rush to the other end, especially so, when the time available is very short and you can never even imagine, whether you can make to the coach, at the zero hour.
Could not the railway authorities make a prior announcement, well before the arrival of the train or even put up a prominent notice at a visible spot that coaches from S12 to S14 or so will be attached after the arrival of the train and passengers booked on these coaches need not be anxious about not finding their coaches on arrival of the traina.
Kindly do something so that this agnonising experience does not recur to any one in future.

Kindly send mail narrating your experience to drm@swr.railnet.gov.in with copy to gm@sr.railnet.gov.in
This train is in two parts about which most people are unaware, and it should be brought to the notice of the authorities for proper announcements to be made.
The train belongs to Southern Railway, but operationally the return journey is the responsibility of South Western Railway. Hence the request to address SWR and SR.

IR has to restart the display boards (coach number indication) atleast before 30 mins of train time. Why they kept these boards in switched off mode?. I saw in so many stations these display boards are not working and so many passengers are getting struggle with luggage running form one end to another end of the train.
It seems to be IR is playing with the passengers. Every thing is computerised why con't we utilise these boards?.
