Travelled again in this train from GKP to LTT... Was travelling in 3AC and the coach was neat and well kept, manufactured in 2009.. The pantry car food is bad and definitely not worth the inflated rates... Since it was raining heavily most of the trip, couldnt really get out on the platforms and buy outside food...
The Kushinagar Express now runs avg about 45min to 2hrs late while reaching LTT.. But almost always reaches before 6am which is convenient.. The sleeper class coaches are old, untidy and badly maintained...

you can try superfast 2542 gkp-ltt as it is superfast plus it is 100 times better than kushinagar interms of speed and halts and rush
2542/2541 gkp-ltt is far more best option against kushinagar.it is 100 times better in terms of speed and cleanliness and halts . friend , you can use this option. its passenger responsibilty also to keep coaches clean by avoiding throwing of garbage within the train, spittting.shoes stamping on the seat which lots happen in kushinagar exp. until and unless such culprit people will not change ,nothing can be done. even rail authority are helpless.
