yes it will give direct connectivity to Pune,Mumbai(BSR,Kalyan) for first time from TN...nearly 15 years after BG conversion TN is getting connected with metros... :) :) one more MDU-MS GUV exp portion is waiting to be extended to TN...second direct connectivity to MS from TN

Is it that much sensational ? Mdu is just 160 km from Tuticorn. Also it will surely shares GN quota with MDU now.

don say like that....TN is getting direct connectivity to Pune,Mumbai,ADI....Obviously most of the long distance trains via MDU will share GN with MDU

moreover this train was budget announced in 2011-2012 as TN-Dwaraka Exp...but due to non-availability of pitlines @ TN this train started from MDU instead of TN...and extended to OKHA.....now pitline is ready @ TN...so extended to its original destination...
