Presenting the King of Purvanchal-12537/38 Manduadih-Muzaffarpur Bapudham Superfast Express. The least captured train of NER. My favorite train to travel from Varanasi to Gorakhpur. The only superfast train between these two cities and entire Purvanchal zone. It gets superb priority over other trains by NER between BSB-GKP. It overtook 12669 Chennai-Chhapra Ganga Kaveri Express at Varanasi City (though Ganga Kaveri departed from BSB earlier but was made to halt at BCY to give way to the king), Manduadih-Bhatni Passenger, Manduadih-Gorakhpur Passenger, 15707 Katihar-Amritsar Amrapali Express at Deoria Sadar. Licchavi Express was spared that day due to late running. Trains like 15018 GKP-LTT Express and 15008 Lucknow-Manduadih Krishak Express halted for crossing of this train. This train covers the BSB-GKP section of 231 kms in 3 hours 40 minutes with 2 halts and average speed of 62 kms.
