If a prs ticket remains in wl after chart preparation,where can i cancel it to get refund?in any prs counter or journey originating station counter?

You can cancel it at any PRS with in 2 hours after the train departure.
But what happens in case of train departing at night? If that ticket can be cancelled in next morning in any station,i strongly doubt it can be misused. That is, traveler undertakes journey with his wl ticket(quite in practice in SL class) and next morning cancels it in destination station.
current counter will be open till 11 pm in night and 6am in the morning...! after 2 hrs departure no refund will be given.
No, Irrespective of distance , one must cancel with in 2 hrs from departure.
