hello Everyone,
Any body please tell me how will i reach to Kalna W.B. after my journey on18th Nov 10 Through 2261 Cstm to Hwh. Its me first time visit Kolkata.I dont where is Kalna Located.and what is the transport should i take.Please anybody help me.I am coming Mumbai and pick my wife and then go to Kalna.after my search 2261 is comfortable for me.also one more question is 3rd AC berth having Curtains or not?

Kalna (the railway station is called Ambika Kalna) is at a distance of 82 kms. from Howrah. But unfortunately after 2261 Mumbai Howrah Duranto Exp reaches Howrah at 19.45 (usually the train is 15 to 30 mins before time), there are no convenient connections from Howrah. There is a train leaving Sealdah at 20.05 hrs called 3163 Sealdah Saharsa Hatey Bazarey Express. It is not possible to avail this train from Sealdah. But if you take a local train from Howrah to Bandel you can reach Bandel by 9 p.m. and avail Hatey Bazarey Exp at Bandel at 21.20 hrs. This train will reach Ambika Kalna at 10 p.m.
Alternately, you can stay put at Howrah and board 219 Howrah Malda...

mumbai howrah duronto will reach howrah at 19:40hrs.kalna is 82 km away from howrah.in howrah station there are 2 zone like dadar(cr) and dadar(wr) eastern railway and south eastern railway.your train will reach on south eastern railway side on pf no 21 or 22 (from p.f. no 13 to p.f. no 23 belongs to south eastern railway trains), kalna comes under eastern railway zone (from pf no 1 to 12 belongs to eastern railway). you take the local train howrah katwa local train possibly from p.f. no 1 to 4 from howrah station.local train fare is Rs.17 timing is 20:25pm (last local) or take howrah malda town fast passenger at 21:25pm will reach 23:17pm. or take a private...

I am not visited HWH ever My beloved living in worli.i earlier i decided a journey starts to NDLS TO HWH after Return back TO Delhi With My Beloved and booked two ticket to BCT Nzm 18/11/2010 2953 Rajdhani August Kranti. But now i want to cancel my ticket And will reach Mumbai 18/11/2010 then starts from BCT. Is it Good ? 2261 Having Curtain or not?
