If one observes closely you could even see one of the most famous grounds in "WORLD CRICKET" and arguably the most famous Test ground in INDIA - "THE EDEN GARDENS" in the pic.It's on the "RIGHT SIDE OF THE PIC" right next to the river with WHITE CANOPY.........yes sir!!!!!!! That's Eden Gardens for you.
waah ... this one picture has captured 5-6 imp places of kolkata ..
Elevation - - - - - - - really helps you in such a sweet way.If one is aware of the surroundings then you can really point out the important "Land marks".Capturing all of them in a single snap really adds to the pic and helps people to identify with the pic.Am sure people who have not seen Kolkata before in this way,really gives them a good idea as to where things stand :)

One of the best pics I've seen, an epic capture of Kolkata. HWH, SDAH, Victoria Memorial, Maidan, Eden Gardens, High Court, etc. all are visible.
