I have booked two tickets from Mumbai to Shornur (Journey in the 2nd week of Nov) for my Uncle's return journey, but by mistake I entered my uncle as Female in e-ticket - now can I alter it to Male - what are the remedial measures available? Can any one pl help what can be done.
Contact the Station master/Reservation Supervisor @ nearest Railway Station, Give them a Request Letter along with Original Id Proof & 2 Copies Of E-Ticket, They will Overwrite and Authorize it. Then its Eligible to Travel
If Possible and tickets available re-book it & cancel this one or else just tell the TTE that it was a mistake and show ID Proof should not be a issue as such.
nothing ,, now u have to cancel ur ticket nd re-book it with correct details , otherwise TTE will treat ur uncle as a ticket less pax. if he travel with this alter e-ticket ,,

Just Inform the Reservation Supervisor. Its Enough and they will Do it.
