1. Baruipur is famous for Guava.

3. Rashmath(Rash Maidan) 3km far from Baruipur railway station, is a famous field to hold a number of fairs all along the year- Rath Yatra, Rash Mela, Chaitra Sankranti Mela, Cricket & Football Tournament followed by Fire crackers show.
Maa Anandamoyee Mandir, one of the famous temple situated in the Roy Chowdhury's House(Beside Rashmath). Thousands of pilgrims comes here on the occasion of Bipattarini Puja, Shiva Ratri.
1. An old Railway Wagon Manufacturing Unit named as M/S BESCO situated 850m(approx) far from Baruipur Railway station towards Sealdah side. It manufactured different types of wagons- BCNAHL, BCNHL, BOXNHL, BTPN, BRN-256, BOBRN. It had also produced some EMU coaches also.
