BRINDAVAN GARDENS(KRS):
Location : Brindavan gardens is located 28 kms north-west of Mysore city.
Best Season to Visit: June-July
This is India's first irrigation dam, built in 1924. Sir. M. Vishweswariah, the engineer who designed and built this dam, has shown his acumen in converting a dam site into a beautiful garden with colourful fountains and ponds downstream.

There are plenty of City Buses plying between City Bus Stand to KRS. I think the price is Rs.15-20 (I donot know the exact ticket price as I usually cover the sight seeing places like KRS, Chamundi Hills, Sri Ranga Patna etc., by buying day pass).
